The A-park industrial project that is being implemented by Espro Group in the city of Kaluga became the winner of the all-Russia ecological development and energy efficiency competition Green Awards. The project won in the nomination of Industrial Real Estate. The competition was held within the scope of the international investment PROEstate forum.
“We feel our economic, social, and ecological responsibility: we are enthusiastic over the introduction of international standard requirements and support environmental initiatives. We are glad that the methods we apply do not remain unnoticed and we will continue introducing environmental innovations into our projects,” says Ivan Potekhin, General Director of Espro Group.
Espro Group is the first Russian developer that became a member of the international organization U.S. Green Building Council.
The À-park project uses technologies allowing to reduce electricity demand by 27%, attention is focused on efficient water consumption, sewage and rainfall water treatment facilities were installed for subsequent technical use, etc. The employed technologies make it possible to ensure a high level of building heat insulation, reduce heat losses and, accordingly, save natural resources.
The Industrial À-park is located on a 20 hà site (that can be developed up to 200 hà) in the Grabtsevo industrial zone, within the city of Kaluga, and near the Volkswagen concern plant. A-park is one of the first built-to-suit projects in Russia. The conditions created in the park enable the car component suppliers to optimize their business thanks to a convenient location of the warehouse and production buildings in close proximity to the plant they serve. The project also provides for construction of manufacturing and warehouse areas for the companies of other business areas: logistical operators, distributors, retailers, and production companies.âåðíóòüñÿ
